Rates and Booking

We offer two basic rates: hourly and block. Project rates are also available. Please ask.

All sessions require a $100 deposit to be paid at the time of booking. The deposit is credited toward your balance but is otherwise non-refundable. No-shows and schedule changes made with less than 24 hours notice may result in the loss of your deposit. We accept cash, check, PayPal and most major credit cards.

If you require a piano tuning for your session, there is an added fee of $150, due at the time of booking. Please e-mail or text/voicemail at 513-394-6427 for more info.

A deposit of $100 per day is required to book a session. For hourly sessions less than 3 hours, full payment is due at the time of booking. To qualify for the block rate discount, the block(s) must be paid for at the time of booking. You can split the blocks up into smaller units of 2 or more hours and use them over time. All outstanding balance is due in full at the end of each session. No media (mixes, MP3, files, CD’s, etc.) will be released to anyone with an outstanding balance. Sorry, no exceptions.

The deposit is credited to your account, but is otherwise NON-REFUNDABLE. If you need to reschedule, we can re-apply your existing deposit to a new date if you give us at least 24 hours notice. No-shows, last minute changes and/or cancellations may result in LOSS OF DEPOSIT.

Please make sure everyone in your group is aware of our deposit policy and available during the time you are booking before you schedule a session. Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been received. Checks made out to Ultrasuede Studio, Inc. may be mailed to 2834 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45225. Cash deposits should be delivered in person. To pay with your credit card,  please e-mail or text/voicemail at 513-394-6427 to arrange payment.

We accept cash, major credit cards, PayPal, and check. If you pay by check, the check will have to clear before any masters, mixes or files are released. If you're paying by check, please allow time for your check to clear. The returned check fee is $50.00.

With block bookings, the session clock starts when your gear is set in place. All hourly sessions begin at the scheduled start time, regardless of whether or not any band members are present. There is no included set up time for hourly bookings.

Computer files are uninsured. Ultrasuede Studio, Inc. assumes no responsibility for master tapes, computer files and/or any other items left on the premises. Your best protection against data loss is to make safety copies on your own hard drive and take it with you. Any items left longer than 30 days may be disposed of at the discretion of Ultrasuede Studio, Inc.

When recording to hard disk (computer files), your session files will remain on our system until your project is finished. Once you are satisfied with your final mixes, you have the option of receiving an archive copy of your session files; a digital “master tape”. These are all the individual tracks that you recorded during the session: drums, instruments, vocals, etc, plus all the effects and level settings. We will archive your files to your drive at no additional cost.

A full-length LP project can vary in size from a few gigabytes to 50GB or more depending on the number of songs, amount of tracks and fie resolution. An external hard drive is a great investment for an artist or band as it can hold multiple album projects, CD artwork, demos, etc. USB3 flash drives, or “thumb” drives are an acceptable lower-cost alternative.

Don’t leave your computer data files at Ultrasuede Studio (or anywhere else for that matter) and expect them to be there weeks, months or years later. We need the space for new projects. Ultrasuede Studio, Inc. accepts no liability for data stored on our computers at any time. It is your responsibility to provide a back up drive and maintain back up copies. We are happy to help and there is no additional charge for this. Please ask if you need help!

Ultrasuede Studio is a non-smoking facility.
